I let Marshmellow get adopted 😮

I always knew that if someone came along that chose him, I would let him go. He needs more than a permanent spot at H3 land. My family is not the right one for him, my dogs are too old so he is not getting the attention he needs. He spends time bouncing from my place to the rescue depending on my work schedule or travel schedule and then today happened. A small child and he chose each other. The child met 4 other dogs and Marshmellow was the one. They chose each other and he was so great with both of the children, so great with them, almost like he knew he had to be more gentle with them.

I really hope it works out and my mind is just going crazy wondering how he is doing in his new family right now.

Bonus, he is only moving to a Broken Arrow so he won’t be far away.

I am really, really happy for him. He needed this so bad. 🙌

To backtrack, remember last year when we went to CA and pulled from a bunch of shelters? Marshmellow was chosen by Sullivan, I wasn’t sure if he was the right dog for him but we were going to save him anyway. Marshmellow and Sully never really connected so it wasn’t a big deal to integrate him into H3 life, like my other dogs.

I am proud of him for making it out and showing me how good he can be with kids. Now let’s hope it lasts!
