Be the Rescuer
Ever dreamed of being the one to save a Husky? Now you can.
With Husky Halfway House as your rescue backing and Pitsky Park as your facilitator you choose the Husky and the shelter—anywhere in the country where we have active partnerships—and we handle the rest. Here’s how it works:
Rescue & transport: Jenni D, HBIC of H3, personally travels to the chosen shelter, pulls your Husky, and brings them safely back to Oklahoma.
30-day care plan: 2 weeks of quarantine + 2 weeks of socialization, full vetting, and behavior evaluation with the H3 team.
All-inclusive costs: Covers transport to the shelter and delivery to your home, spay/neuter, vaccinations, Proheart 12 (1 year of heartworm prevention), flea & tick prevention during rehab plus a take-home dose, and daily quality care from the H3 team.
Pack prep: Your Husky will be socialized with other dogs, evaluated for temperament, and given basic training to help them succeed as part of your family.
Extra medical needs? Covered by H3 fundraising—your cost never goes above the program fee.
Delivered to you: When ready, Jenni will personally drive your Husky home to you.
In just one month, you’ll turn a shelter statistic into a success story—your story.

RESCUE ME
Approved Adopters Only – This program is designed for approved adopters of Husky Halfway House (H3). If you are not yet approved, you may still participate in emergency situations, and your adoption application will be processed during the rescue timeline.
-
Commitment to Adopt – By purchasing this service, you are committing to adopt the Husky you select. We cannot accept requests to “rescue without adoption.” If you back out, see the No Commitment Rescue fee below.
-
Husky-Only Program – H3 rescues Huskies exclusively. For the safety and stability of our pack, we cannot accept requests for other breeds.
-
Shelter Partnerships – You may select a Husky from any shelter where H3 currently has a formal partnership or agreement in place.
-
Timeline to Rescue – Rescues require planning. While we work quickly, we cannot guarantee immediate pickup. Travel logistics, distance, and shelter scheduling may affect timing.
-
Emergency Rescue Option – In urgent cases, emergency rescues may be available for an additional fee. Emergency rescues require direct communication with H3 and may not always be possible. If H3 cannot deploy in time, your Emergency Rescue fee will be refunded within 24 hours.
-
Rehab Timeline – Once pulled, the Husky spends approximately 30 days at H3: 2 weeks quarantine + 2 weeks socialization, vetting, and evaluation.
-
Health & Vetting – All rescues include spay/neuter, vaccinations, Preheart 12 (1-year heartworm prevention), flea & tick prevention during rehab plus a take-home dose, and daily quality care from the H3 team. Additional medical needs will be covered through H3 fundraising.
-
Transport – Jenni D, HBIC of H3, personally handles shelter pickup and final delivery of your Husky to your home. Transportation costs are included in the program fee.
-
Behavior & Training – Every Husky receives temperament evaluation, pack socialization, and basic training during rehab. However, long-term training and integration into your home is your responsibility.
-
Adopter Responsibility – Once delivered, the Husky becomes your responsibility for lifelong care, including continued medical needs, training, and well-being.
-
Trade Policy – If the Husky you select is not a good match for your family after rehab and evaluation, you are required to adopt another Husky already in the H3 program. No refunds will be issued.
-
Fees & Payment Structure
-
Planned Rescue – $5,000: For approved adopters scheduling a rescue through H3. Standard timeline.
-
Emergency Rescue – $7,000: For urgent cases where a Husky’s life is at risk. Available to approved adopters or new adopters completing the approval process during the rescue. Requires immediate coordination with H3.
-
No Commitment Rescue – $10,000: If an adopter backs out after the Husky has been rescued, a non-commitment fee applies. This ensures the Husky’s safety, continued care, and rehoming through H3.
-
Refunds & Cancellations – Because each rescue is tailored and costs are committed upfront, fees are non-refundable once a Husky has been pulled.
-
Geographic Limitations – H3 can only complete rescues and deliveries within the contiguous United States (lower 48 states). We cannot service Hawaii, Alaska, or any location requiring crossing international borders.
-
Tax Deductibility – This program is a direct service, not a donation. Payments are not tax deductible and cannot be made with charitable or donated funds.
